Bacon Austin

Bacon fries, bacon gravy, bacon stuffed waffles. Yea, that's right! You can get more than the best BLT of your life at a restaurant named after America's favorite food. Bacon offers a whole menu dedicated to it's namesake with everything from bacon covered fries, bacon stuffed waffles, or biscuits and bacon gravy. Whatever you choose off the menu at Bacon is sure to bring a smile both for originality and extreme delciousnessnicity. That's a new word that we're coining here at the Explore Austin Texas Restaurant Tour.


Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill

The Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill takes you back to a simpler time. Comfortable and familiar, relaxed and easygoing, Moonshine greets guests like family. Serving up great cooking with an innovative take on classic American comfort food, Moonshine's menu satisfies even the big city tastes.

24 Diner

Also named after one of its top features, 24 Diner is a relative newcomer to Austin's 24 hour dining scene. Opening in 2010 next to Waterloo Records it quickly took on the personality of the area that has catered to Austin's music scene since shortly after time began. 24 Diner appeals to the same crowd that refuses to dine at chain restaurants and aims to Keep Austin Weird. There's no way to sell out on the menu or order up something that sucks as the entire place exudes authenticity.
We're glad to have them in Austin and are confident that you
will enjoy partaking in their offerings.

Huts Hamburgers

Hut's Hamburgers in downtown Austin is a local favorite featuring burgers, sandwiches, and other diner classics. The extensive menu offers over twenty different types of burgers including classics like the Chili dog and Chicken Fried Steak. Hut's is a casual family friendly eatery where you can enjoy diner food done right in a fun comfortable environment.




Guero's Taco Bar

Enjoy our handmade corn tortillas, specialty dishes, and make sure to visit our salsa bar. Our caldo de pollo and tacos al pastor are just a few of our tried-and-true favorites. Start off with a hand-shaken margarita in our cantina, or enjoy an icy cold cerveza while listening to music in our Oak Garden. Just sit back, relax, and let us do what we do best.




The Tavern

Quite possibly the oldest establishment in Austin, The Tavern still boasts a sign out front that says Air Conditioning. While some of come to take that luxury for granted, The Tavern never takes it's customers for granted and makes sure the place stays cool in more more ways than one. The dining menu is very diverse, from their amazing white wings to their signature kolache-bun burgers served with their fresh hand-cut fries. The traditional delectable pub grub will keep

Old Pecan Street Cafe

A icon on Historic 6th Street for years, Old Pecan street moved across the street recently into...what do you know...another historic building.
